Sandra María Esteves is an award-winning poet, visual artist, and founding member of the Nuyorican poetry movement. She is also the first Puerto Rican-Dominican-Nuyorican woman to have published a volume of poetry in the United States.

Patricia Herrera, Ph.D. in Theater from the Graduate Center, CUNY is a specialist on Latino theatre and performance, as well as co-founder and co-director of Rubí Theater Company and a member of the music group Doo Wop Moderno.
